The real cause of the Syrian Revolution is drought. I feel this caused the revolution because lots of people in Syria are farmers, and their crop is all of their food. However, the drought causes the crop to die/not grow so the people look to their government to give them food and water, but the government didn't give them what they wanted. So, the people revolted, and the revolution began. The draught is caused by us because if it was caused by a global cycle then we would be in a cooling period not a draught. We caused it by chopping down tries and burning them, which releases co2. We also release tons of co2 by causing peat fires. Peat is in between coal and wet soil, carcasses, etc. Peat fires are under ground and are near impossible to put out. Lots of people outside of Syria don't know about the real cause of the drought because they are convinced that it is caused by a natural cycle. The people trying to tell them that the drought is caused by us are denied just because they are democrats or Muslims, etc. "A thermometer is not democrat or republican, it is a thermometer." We can't do much but we can unplug chargers so we don't waste energy, or take shorter shower, etc. Finally, we have to do the little things to help our environment.
