Ancient Chinese Fishing Village
The assignment was to create a diorama of a scene that would represent Ancient China. We chose to build a Chinese Fishing Village. We chose this because we thought it was creative and we wanted to learn about the different ways the Chinese got their food, water, and how they survived. When I look at our project the word that comes to mind is resourceful. I think this because we tried many materials to make our mountain but none of then quite worked, until we looked around the art room and found some felt, which worked perfectly. I am most proud of cutting out the river. I am proud of this because it took me a very long time to cut it and when I was finally done cutting the project started to look complete. If I did this project again I would do a houses inside to show how people cooked their food. The most fun part part of making the project was working productively with my partner, and us both really being into making our project perfect.
