Past a towering spiral of metal which forms a gate, the shadowy road bumbles and rolls to a small slope. The tall pines cast shadows upon the sloping road, and the sun is hidden behind the hills. This shaded road is called Shadow Mountain Drive, and it lies between hills and pines.
The hills are clad in soft, fluffy grass that trees and shrubs lie upon. The trees are tall but friendly and allow children to lie under their spreading branches. Small pine cones cascade onto the warm thickets of grass and eventually become tall pines. When the sun appears, golden rays drift through the pines' multitude of needles and give light to the shrubs and flowers. The bushes strewn with berries sit low to the ground, and rabbits hop by. The rolling hills covered by green patches of grass are home to many.
Throughout the rolling hills and towering pines, there are respectable houses. The buildings settle in nooks, where the hills don't obstruct their view. Laughter, joy, and friendship surge through the houses like rapids. Children climb trees and play games in the lush grass. The houses are respectable but don't defy the nature surrounding them. They coexist with the surrounding hills, shrubs, and pines, and at the same time stand proud.
Early in the morning when the morning birds whoo, when the air is crisp and nippy, the deer wake and prance about the tall cushiony, grass hills. The deer are nimble and quick, but not afraid. They are respected by people and cherished too. The deer have white puffy tails and tall thin legs; they gallop about in the sun on the sloping hills. In the early morning when the sun has yet to appear, coyotes are about and marching through the street. Early risers gaze upon their brown coats in aw, as the coyotes silently walk.
In Shadow Mountain Drive the scenery, houses, and wildlife all coexist with ease. Man made objects entertained with nature.
